A new residence on a narrow ridge with long views west across Logan Martin Lake, organized as a series of stone pavilions connected by deep porches.
The site drops steeply on three sides. We placed the main living spaces on the upper level so the house reads as a single calm volume from the approach. Local sandstone and Alabama limestone form the exterior walls; the roof is standing-seam copper that will patinate to a soft green. Every principal room opens through tall French doors to a continuous porch that shades the glass and captures breezes off the water.
